This policy documents source selection, attribution, reuse, and correction practices for data displayed by PlatformPapa.

1. Scope and terminology

1.1

This policy applies to provider names, product categories, website URLs, company descriptions, relationships, ratings, SEO estimates, logos, screenshots, and other directory fields collected or derived from internet and owner-supplied sources.

1.2

“Open data” or “open-licensed data” means material offered under identifiable terms permitting reuse. “Public source” means material viewable by the public but not necessarily licensed for unrestricted copying. “Derived data” means our normalization, classification, comparison, or editorial analysis.

3. Reuse, attribution, and intellectual property

3.1

  • Open-licensed material is used subject to its licence, attribution, share-alike, notice, and version requirements where applicable.
  • Facts may be researched from public sources, but substantial copying of protected expression or databases is not intended.
  • PlatformPapa-written descriptions, classifications, layouts, and compilations are original or licensed content unless stated otherwise.
  • Third-party ratings and metrics remain attributable to their publishers and may be changed or withdrawn by those publishers.
  • A citation identifies evidence; it does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or permission beyond applicable law or licence.

3.2

Users wishing to reuse a source item must check the original publisher’s current terms. This register does not grant rights in third-party material.

4. Quality, freshness, and limitations

4.1

Internet sources can be incomplete, promotional, outdated, region-specific, or temporarily unavailable. We use reasonable checks but do not warrant that every field is current or independently verified. A source listed below generally supports only the statement described beside it, not every claim on the profile.

4.2

Links may redirect or disappear. Historical citations can remain relevant to explain why a listing was created even if the source later changes. See our Editorial Policy for scoring and correction standards.

5. Logos and screenshots

5.1

Names and logos are used to identify the organizations discussed. All third-party marks remain the property of their respective owners. Display does not imply endorsement or affiliation. Brand assets may come from official media resources, public brand files, open-licensed repositories, or website icons.

5.2

Screenshots are limited visual references captured from publicly accessible pages. They may contain third-party copyrighted material and must not be treated as reusable stock imagery. We may crop, resize, compress, or remove screenshots for accuracy, safety, geographic restrictions, or a substantiated rights request.

6. Corrections, attribution, and removal requests

6.1

To request a correction, attribution update, or review of protected material, email legal@platformpapa.com. Include the PlatformPapa URL, the item at issue, your relationship to the rights holder, the requested outcome, and supporting evidence. We may request identity or authority verification.

7. Current directory source register

This generated register currently contains 156 citations across 156 listings and 153 source domains. It reflects the repository used for the current directory dataset and may change as records are reviewed.
